Roleplaying

Appearance

Jamoke is a tall, muscular figure with dark skin and piercing eyes. He constantly wears a hooded cloak to conceal his face and carries an assortment of weapons at his side. His movements are fluid and silent, like that of a predator stalking its prey.

Roleplaying Guide

When roleplaying Jamoke, focus on his determination to save Jaloren while maintaining an air of mystery about his true identity. Keep conversations centered around The Shaddowhammer cult or clues related to finding Jaloren. Also keep in mind his difficult relationship with his family and tribe due to the pressure he felt growing up. This can inform some of his choices, especially when it comes to decisions that have a direct impact on his tribe or reconnecting with the Loas for guidance on locating Jaloren. As Jamoke is secretly a prince, he may occasionally display knowledge or skills that would be unusual for someone of his rogue background. This could lead to suspicion or curiosity from other characters if not carefully concealed.

Ideals

Jamoke values honor and determination above all else. He will stop at nothing to save his sister and stop The Shaddowhammer cult, even if it means risking his own life. Show these ideals through his actions and decisions throughout the campaign.

Bonds

Jamoke's strongest bond is with his sister Jaloren, whom he is determined to save. Emphasize this bond by having him constantly search for clues or information about her whereabouts. His tribal heritage is also important to him, although he feels disconnected from them due to the distrust they have for him.

Flaws

Jamoke's obsessive nature can be both a strength and a weakness. He may become tunnel-visioned in his pursuit of Jaloren, leading him to make rash decisions or overlook important details. Additionally, as a distrusted figure in his tribe, he may struggle to gain their support in his mission.

Quirks

A memorable trait of Jamoke is his insistence on always wearing a hooded cloak to conceal his face. This can make him appear mysterious and enigmatic while also hinting at the secrets he keeps hidden beneath the surface.

Trivia

  • Jamoke has a collection of trinkets and talismans related to hunting and tracking.
  • He is skilled at skinning animals and collecting hides, which he learned during his time in The Basin.
  • Despite leaving his tribe behind, Jamoke still holds onto some of their traditions and customs, incorporating them into his daily life.
